Kissonerga, a village with many centuries of rich history, constitutes a treasure of archaeological findings. Nowadays, it is classified in the most developing areas of the Pafos District.

The village is located north of the town of Pafos and it is approximately 8 kilometres away from the town. It is built on an altitude of 80 metres and the view from its heights is unique as the blue colour of the sea mingles with the golden-green colour of the rural cultivation creating a wonderful picture that looks like a painting.

In Kissonerga, old and new characteristics coexist harmonically. On the one side there is the old neighbourhood with its narrow alleys and modest houses, and on the other side there are new neighbourhoods with big modern houses, tourist areas with hotels, taverns and restaurants.
